Michael Keaton Returns as the Beloved Ghost in the Sequel to the 1988 Comedy Classic

Tim Burton's iconic ghost, Beetlejuice, is back in the first full trailer for Beetlejuice 2. Michael Keaton reprises his role as the mischievous poltergeist in this long-awaited sequel to the 1988 comedy classic.

The trailer opens with Barbara and Adam Maitland (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) returning to their former home, now inhabited by a new family. As they investigate strange noises coming from the attic, they soon realize that Beetlejuice has also returned.

Keaton is joined in the cast by Jenna Ortega as Lydia Deetz, Winona Ryder as Winona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz. The film is directed by Tim Burton from a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg.

Beetlejuice 2 is set to hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
